The New International Journal of Particle Therapy

Dr. Nancy P. Mendenhall, medical director of the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute, is proud to announce the launch of the International Journal of Particle Therapy (IJPT), the official journal of the Particle Therapy Cooperative Group, which is an international society of physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists interested in proton therapy, light-ion therapy, and heavy charged-particle therapy for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. Several UF faculty members have joined Dr. Mendenhall in leading an effort to provide a preferred venue for disseminating  the most up-to-date information on the clinical, physical, and biological research in proton, light-ion, and heavy charged-particle therapy. The journal is open access and peer-reviewed in order to enhance the quality of particle therapy publications through dedicated and creative editorial assistance and facilitate career development of young particle therapy investigators.
