The Medical Physics Graduate Program seeks to promote an interest in research in the Department of Radiation Oncology from the perspective of biomedical engineering. The CAMPEP-accredited Medical Physics Program is one of the oldest medical physics programs in the US, originating in 1961. While our program is academically housed in the Department of Radiology, it represents a joint effort of the College of Engineering and the College of Medicine. Participating departments include Biomedical Engineering, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, and Neurosurgery.
