Medical Physics Residency Program

The Therapeutic Medical Physics Residency Program at the University of Florida College of Medicine’s Department of Radiation Oncology aims to prepare graduates for board certification and a professional career in radiation oncology. The department is part of the University of Florida Health Cancer Institute, the nation’s 72nd National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated cancer center and the only NCI-designated cancer center based at a public university in Florida. 

Our team—comprising medical physics faculty, dosimetrists, residents, and fellows—shares a vision of becoming one of the world’s premier academic residency programs. By collaborating closely with clinicians and researchers across disciplines, we work to address critical clinical challenges through technological innovation.
