UF Association of Academic Editors

The UF Association of Academic Editors, or UFAAE, is a professional organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the professional development of UF editors, and the professionalization of academic editing, at the University of Florida.

The UFAAE is open to all UF staff who play a role in publishing and communications, in any capacity, at the University of Florida. Members include editors, communications specialists, writers, grants specialists, research coordinators, and administrative directors in the liberal arts, sciences, and other technical fields.

The UFAAE was founded in December of 2016 with the mission to form a network of editors across campus who can assist one another through editorial challenges and in achieving career goals. Members also hope to help guide UF students interested in editorial careers through thoughtful mentorship.

UFAAE events include networking lunches, lectures, and workshops open to all UF students and staff.
