Sean is the lead Clinical Research and Grants Editor for the Department of Radiation Oncology Research and Editorial Office for both Gainesville and Jacksonville faculty. Sean has helped orchestrate nearly 30 successful grant applications for over $8.0 million in awards.
His grant responsibilities include full grant package preparation, formatting, and editing of subcontracts, letters of intent, letters of support, biosketch and other support forms, budgets and budget justifications, scientific aims, research plans, protocols, and bibliographies, as well as submission through online portals such as PeerNet and ProposalCentral. In addition, Sean has edited numerous peer-reviewed articles in leading scientific journals (Tier 1 and Tier 2), as well as several medical textbook chapters.
