Kari is the Research Administration Manager responsible for overseeing the Radiation Oncology Research and Editorial Office. This office provides support to the Radiation Oncology faculty in both Gainesville and Jacksonville. Kari’s primary role is to coordinate clinical research activities for the department and ensure that all regulatory and administrative requirements are met. She works closely with faculty and residents to ensure that projects are executed in compliance with institutional guidelines and human subject research regulations.

In addition, Kari also serves as the department administrator for faculty tenure and promotion. She is responsible for coordinating the administrative efforts and logistical planning for all grant submissions and research agreements. Kari collaborates with faculty to provide project planning and management services. She also oversees retrospective clinical outcomes studies, clinical trial onboarding processes, publications, and communication efforts. Kari plays a crucial role in coordinating collaborations with sponsors and faculty to ensure the smooth operations of the department while providing support for faculty development.
