Ashton is the lead Clinical Research Coordinator in the Radiation Oncology Research Office. She implements and manages complex oncology clinical research protocols for multiple federally funded, PI-initiated, industry-sponsored, and in-house clinical trials from study startup to completion. She facilitates subject accrual to appropriate clinical trials based on protocol-specific inclusion/ exclusion criteria while ensuring adherence to Human Subjects Protection and Good Clinical Practices.
Along with collecting data as required per protocol and assuring timely completion of case report forms, she maintains effective and ongoing communication with sponsors, participants, clinic and research staff, and the Principal Investigator during the course of each study.
