Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner
Olayinka Ogedengbe, DNP, APRN, AOCNP, FNP-BC, is an oncology nurse practitioner with more than a decade of clinical experience in cancer care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University and her Master of Science in Nursing from South University, graduating with high distinction.
Yinka began her professional career in accounting before transitioning to nursing and has been affiliated with UF Health since 2007. Board-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner, she has developed specialized expertise in radiation oncology, supported by a strong clinical foundation in medical oncology.
Her clinical interests include the management of breast, thoracic, and thyroid malignancies, as well as meningiomas and gynecologic cancers. Her practice emphasizes evidence-based oncology care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of patient-centered clinical outcomes.
Yinka is a two-time recipient of the Advanced Practice Provider of the Year Award in recognition of excellence in advanced practice care. She is recognized for her clinical acumen, commitment to compassionate patient care, and dedication to improving outcomes for patients with cancer.
Beyond her clinical responsibilities, Yinka is a devoted wife and mother who values lifelong learning, faith, family, and community. Her professional and personal commitments reflect the principles of integrity, resilience, and service that continue to guide her approach to patient care and professional practice..
Kathryn J. Warren, MPAS, PA-C
Cancer Survivorship Program Director and Advanced Practice Provider
A Florida native raised in Panama City, Katie Warren moved to Gainesville in 1999 to attend the University of Florida and remained in the city to continue her career serving UF Health patients.
Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science in 2003, a Master of Science degree in applied Physiology and Kinesiology in 2005, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the UF College of Medicine School of PA Studies in 2009.
From 2009 to 2021, Katie administered to patients in the Division of Hematology Oncology. She was promoted to Lead Oncology Advanced Practice Provider in 2013 and specialized in GU cancers, lymphoma, melanoma, and sarcoma.
Katie joined the Radiation Oncology team in 2021 and serves as the Cancer Survivorship Program Director for the UF Health Cancer Institute. In addition to her previous expertise, her current specialties include head and neck cancers and GI cancers.
She loves music and dance, gardening, and traveling, especially to concerts around the country.
