Home to Gainesville's Radiation Oncology team and the College of Medicine’s Department of Radiation Oncology, the UF Health Radiation Oncology – Davis Cancer Center has completed its $1.5 million renovation project.

In 2009, the International Journal or Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics named UF Radiation Oncology residents the second-most published residents of any US radiation oncology residency program. Ten years later, this high level of engagement in research remains one of the most important goals of our department.

The special 50th Anniversary Research Seminar, which will take place February 28-29, 2020, will feature three concurrent programs: the Radiation Therapists’ Seminar, the Oncology Nursing Seminar, and the Radiation Oncology Research Seminar. More information is forthcoming - mark your calendars!

Keynote Speaker will be Paul M. Harari, MD, FASTRO. Dr. Harari is the current Chair of the ASTRO Board of Directors, the Jack Fowler Professor and Chairman of the Department of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, the principal investigator for the Wisconsin H&N SPORE Grant, and a member of the UW Carbone Cancer Center Senior Leadership Council.
