Research by UF Radiation Oncology residents, physicians, and alumni will be featured at the American Society for Radiation Oncology’s (ASTRO) 68th Annual Meeting, slated to take place at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center, Boston, from Saturday, September 26, to Wednesday, September 30.
This year’s event will be organized around the theme, “Data to Dialogue: Communicating Radiotherapy’s Value to Advance Care.” Some 2,500 abstracts will be presented alongside educational panels, keynote addresses and other special programming.
About 1,700 presenters and over 11,000 international radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, radiation oncology nurses and nurse practitioners are expected to attend.
