Tithi Biswas, MD Joins UF Radiation Oncology

Paul Okunieff, MD, Professor, Chair, and Interim Medical Director, is pleased to announce the addition of Professor Tithi Biswas, MD to the University of Florida College of Medicine Radiation Oncology team.

Dr. Biswas joins UF from the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology, Cleveland, Ohio, where she served as Professor and Chief of Thoracic Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Biswas received her MD from the Post-Graduate Institute for Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, and completed her residency in radiation oncology at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY.

Recognized as “Educator of the Year” by the Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO) in 2013, Dr. Biswas received the Pam Davis Senior Achievement and Professional Development Award from Women Faculty of the CWRU School of Medicine in 2023 was also chosen as a “Top Radiation Oncology Doctor” in Cleveland by Top Doctor Magazine 2019-2021.

Dr. Biswas will serve UF Health’s breast and lung cancer patients and will continue her research in lung cancer, SBRT, Oligometastasis, and breast cancer.
