Latest Research from UF Radiation Oncologists presented at the 2023 ASTRO Meeting

UF had a strong presence both in and out of the convention hall. UF Radiation Oncology residents, physicians, and alumni enjoyed a strong presence both in and out of the convention hall at the American Society for Radiation Oncology’s (ASTRO) 65th Annual Meeting, held October 1-4 at the San Diego Convention Center.

This year’s meeting was organized around the theme, “Pay it Forward: Partnering with Our Patients.” New results from clinical trials and other research studies were presented in conjunction with educational panels, keynote addresses and other special sessions.

The meeting featured some 1,700 presenters and over 11,000 international radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, radiation oncology nurses and nurse practitioners, biologists, physician assistants, practice administrators, industry representatives and other health care professionals were expected to attend.
