Dr. James Bates, a first-year resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology, was awarded the 2017 Brigid Leventhal Special Merit Award for the top-ranking abstract in pediatric oncology by the Conquer Cancer Foundation (CCF) of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). His abstract, “Age-associated vulnerability to treatment-related late cardiotoxicity: A report from the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study,” will presented as an oral presentation at the ASCO Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL.
