The UFHCC Top Team Effort Award is meant to reward work groups for achieving challenging goals and making significant, positive impact on organizational business, research and/or patient care objectives. UF Health Jacksonville’s Head and Neck Cancer Program, led by Rui P. Fernandes, M, DMD, FACS, was honored with this year’s award. The team was recognized for its excellence in patient care that draws patients from across the nation. Several members of the Department of Radiation Oncology, including Drs. Curtis Bryant, William Mendenhall, Roi Dagan,and Robert Malyapa, are valuable members of this team.
