Dr. Folakemi Odedina, PhD, Joint Professor in Radiation Oncology and Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy and Director of Community Outreach and Minority Affairs at the Prostate Disease Center, was recently awarded a prestigious Department of Defense grant for “The Florida Prostate Cancer Research Training Opportunities for Outstanding Leaders (ReTOOL) Program: Creating Opportunities for Minority HBCU Students.” This competitive grant is sponsored through the Prostate Cancer Research Program.
